used the Natural Connection template minus tapping (since the first version didn't put the land in play tapped)

Why is the +1/+1 counter in the cost and why doesn't this put the land in tapped?

I just ported it over. I assume the +1/+1 counter is a part of the cost because it greatly shortens the wording.

Tapped-wise, I think it's because it requires a creature, so it wouldn't be too hot otherwise. However, I think putting it into play tapped would be good.

A quick note - I really like the idea of "Tap a creature and put a +1/+1 counter on it", it works super well with Canisters.

Does this still fit into what we want to be doing with this set?

Probably not, anyone have any reason for me to not remove it?
