Wow. I've played with an effect a bit similar to this (Oscillation Sharpener) and the ability to ping, attach to something else, ping, attach to something else, ping etc is very potent. I'll point out that if you have 3 tokens then this gives you "
, tap 3 untapped creatures: Deal 3 damage divided as you wish among creatures". That's a very strong effect. (Which means uncommon is the right place for it - I need to move Oscillation Sharpener to being uncommon when I next work on this set.)
You might want to take the equip cost up to
to make it a bit harder.
agree it's a strong effect, but mirrodin block survived leonin bola at common so i'd like to leave it as-is for now and see how big a problem it is. definitely on the radar though
Bola is just temporary, where pinging is permanent... but okay, it's your call.
