For Challenge # 107. I wanted to make a mana that hurt you to use it, but the question that popped into my head was "Why wouldn't 'Lose 1 life' be part of the cost to add mana to your pool?".
So instead of just one mana, I added three, so the damage you take is based on the amount of mana you use. And since the mana just floats in your pool, it feels like it's taunting you to use it. Seemed appropriate.
or the reverse to emulate mana burn.
You know... that makes sense, too. Though, I assume it would make more sense in red.
Very cool. "Here, there's some power you could have if you want... Just a teensy little price, negligible really... Wouldn't you like to have this power?... If you don't use it this turn, I'll make the same offer next turn..." Very black :)
