Not much clue about sensible numbers for this.

For starters, having Equip {2}, Unequip: Add {3} is probably a bad idea...

Erm, good point. I originally had a {t} in there to make it once per turn; should have left it in. Reverted.

I suspect a lot of misplaying by tapping the creature instead of the equipment. If you make it so that the creature is the one that taps (a la Heartseeker), then all your dudes effectively tap for 1, which doesn't seem too outrageous.
