For Challenge # 095. Also see Yavimaya Firewurm.

I'm not sure this is a good idea, but I decided to swap "direct damage for 1 and 2" and "primary in trample" between red and green.

That means green gets 1 and 2 damage, often as a "only hit creature" instant or as an attack trigger. That's Thornbite Shaman and Scorpion Sting. I tried to make it feel different to red. That frees up the congestion of mana costs on low-cost red burn spells a little.

And the one 6/x creature at common is often red instead of green, which isn't a big change. And you'd print something like Arc Elemental instead of Garruk's Companion which is perfectly printable at the moment but doesn't normally replace green at common.

You know, I'm leery about direct damage in green. That said, "deals damage when it attacks" seems like a good space to work with. It reminds me of the problem of teaching people how to play Magic for the first time, and how I'd need to keep reminding them that creatures attack players, not other creatures. It seems that green creatures, though, want to attack other creatures.
