Hmm. I feel like you would almost always choose "creature." I also feel like I may have undercosted this.

In Limited you would (And yes, this would be stonkingly good - could easily have "you may pay {2}. If you do...").

In Constructed it's more varied, but the best type to name will sadly still generally be pretty obvious for any given opposing deck.
