Um. Ouch? Most black repeatable abilities require sacrifice, at least. So it's fairer than my first instinct screams.
Consumptive Goo would kill this... Ghave, Guru of Spores does it for , Golgari Guildmage would be terrifying; but when isn't it? If you can make it a zombie instead of a vampire there's a lot of things that'll work...
But there's a lot of ways to target this once a turn in black; which is still a creature a turn, which is game winningly good.
Ah, here we go. Onyx Mage and win.
This may be one of the rare times when Deathlace is an all star. That plus any Equipment that equips for zero should mean game over.
Onyx Mage and Ghave do sound nasty, but with Golgari Guildmage's ability costing 5, I would hope an opponent has some answer to it.
Looking through "Standard. Target creature. Black. Type=creature." on Gatherer, I also picked up Rix Maadi Guildmage, Vizkopa Guildmage and Shadow Alley Denizen. None of them are perfect for the purposes of breaking this card, but all of them are close.
Alright, Agent of the Fates says this should be rare.
This is fine now. Repeated removal is backbreaking; repeated lifeloss is just what creatures do. If you made this just say "target of a spell", it'd be fine at common. With "spell or ability", perhaps uncommon might be better.
