I know that "card types matter", but this would be so much more elegant if it just said [1W: UEOT, ~ has "Equipped creature has lifelink and +1/+0."]

Well... it'd be simpler, certainly. It'd even be better in many cases (not a Demystify target, not opening itself up to 2-for-1s if the enchanted creature gets destroyed). But it wouldn't turn on Seasoned Blademaster, Benevolent Runecaster, Atine, Veniwood Borderguard...

I take your point. But I'd love to see an Equipment that becomes an Aura (or vice versa), and this seems to be the set for it. I'd be up for alternate suggestions.

The "Enchanted" line looks like a typo at first, until you read the activated ability. Then it looks like a nasty headache waiting to happen. Should it be granted by the same ability that makes it an Aura?

Yeah, this is a recipe for a headache. Perhaps I should just kill it and instead create a rare creature that does something like "Equipment attached to creatures you control are Aura Enchantments. // Enchanted creatures you control have +1/+1." or some such. This card is a bit too fiddly for not enough reward.

I think it's cute, certainly, but it does rather smack of "Look, the rules let me do this! So I will, because I can! Has your brain melted yet?"

That is.... sadly probably quite accurate ;) I wonder if it'd be better the other way round. An Aura that becomes an Equipment, and gains "Equip 2". That way there's a clear reason to do it, far fewer drawbacks, and I can lose the cool-but-too-confusing enchanted/equipped lines.

I like that idea. You'd obviously have to check the wording of rules on Auras being unnattached (although if they're unfavourable, you can assume they're reworded to be what you want).

In fact, with an existing reason to do it, I like the enchanted/equipped lines too, although I agree they're probably too confusing to be a great idea. (My idea was it switching between the two, which is also possible, but I think aura-becoming-equipment is nice.)

I think its a cool card but i think its odd for a white activation to give +1/+0 instead of +1/+1. I dont think it would be broken with the additional toughness thrown in as you're paying 2 every turn, (aside from 1 to cast and 2 to equip) to give a creature +1/+1 and Knight of Meadowgrain ability, plus already having first strike 1 more toughness can be irrelevant, but would be better aesthetically.
