OK, stretching a lot here, but I wanted to experiment with different mana costs.
Wizards wouldn't print this because it's too confusing what happens when it targets a non-creature artifact (ie. nothing). But AFAIK it works under the rules, and I like this version of "kill anything, sort of" for green.
Common sense would probably suggest removing "creature with flying".
I still think it's odd that wizards, after having no spells that mention planeswalkers at all, go straight to spells that destroy them -- where are the spells which damage them (after all, that makes more sense for the flavour -- lots of spells damage a player, but only one or two destroy a player outright).
Ha! I would play this spell. Yes, indeed. At the very least "Deal 4 damage to an artifact creature, or a creature with flying" would hit a number of decks. That's a lot of icing you piled on top.
Weell. Leaf Arrow and Oxidize are each just one mana. This is 4, and it won't even kill a Hexplate Golem, so it's fair enough to add some bits and bobs.
I actually love this. It's somewhere between Crushing Vines and Piqued Fires.
I still like this. It maybe would have been templated as "~ deals 4 damage to target artifact creature, enchantment creature, land creature, planeswalker, or creature with flying" :)
Or maybe just "destroy target artifact creature, enchantment creature, land creature, planeswalker, or creature with flying"
