For a set with a focus on land sacrifice?

Maybe a subtheme. I can't really see that being a successful focus.

The really big problem with this card is it acts as acceleration when combined with discard... or self mill. Discard moreso. This plus Silverglade Pathfinder, for example, can get kind of silly. Wild Mongrel and this land is just too much abuse.

Personally, I think an activation cost should help this problem out. Even if the cost was "{2}: Return this land from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped." Then you'd be able to slow down the crazy super-aggro starts, and leave you with a sexy ability.

That's a very good point, jmgariepy. I'll probably end up going with something more like that. For now, I'm seeing how this looks to people. Too abusive with Landfall?

Glurp? Weird. Busywork.

Eenteresting though - if it dies unexpectedly, you lose it forever. Oh no, wait; it goes back to the graveyard. So check again next turn.

Kinda works, wording feels odd though. Also a landfall and a land dies trigger every end step? There's got to be an abuse case for that.

Looks like this costs {3} and is rare, according to Drownyard Temple.
