um... this is a two-turn win condition. Oh, but it costs 10 mana in three colours. Carry on then.

Will probably cut one of the last two abilities once I decide which I like better.

As in, it digs up Omniscience or Primal Surge the turn after you cast it? Yeah, that's probably okay.

Does this seem appropriate for 10 CMC? Which minus ability should I go with? The -20 (the number may change) has a definite "wow" factor, but the -X is undeniably powerful.

Both Karn Liberated and Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker could neutralise any target permanent for 7-8 mana, so I think 10 is a bit too much. (Though I don't think this should be 7 mana with its current stats, as it gains loyalty while zapping permanents.) The -20 is undeniably splashy as anything; it reminds me of Spawnsire of Ulamog, but it means you only have a choice between the two + abilities. Having the -X is still very strong, and it gives you more relevant choice in the first four turns.

Hmmm... I made this during my attempts to answer a challenge on MTG Salvation to design a noncreature card with CMC 10 or greater which is at least three colors. I like this design, I just can't decide which of the minus abilities to keep... and you're right with the comparison to Karn Liberated and Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. That first ability is very similar to their removal abilities. Of course, Bolas got to go up in loyalty while zapping noncreatures at 8 CMC, so maybe at 10 this can zap anything for a bonus.
Pardon my rambling. Is it unfeasible to keep both abilities?

I'm looking back at my comments on this and wondering what the heck its abilities used to be, and what creature type I originally envisioned for Ornaphon. I really need to make notes about that kind of stuff.
