As an anti-izzet, I played up the "big dumb creature" aspect of red and (to a lesser extent) blue. I wasn't sure what combination of abilities to go with flying: nothing, or islandhome, or attacks each turn if able, or some combination.
This creature feels very weird, somehow, despite many similar creatures existing, but seems fairly blue/red.
But it's not very Izzet. I think an Izzet mage would fall asleep half way through the name. "Where are the crazy combos?" she'd ask :)
That seems legit. Maybe the key to this challenge is looking at the flavor itself, as opposed to the mechanical flavor. This doesn't look very Izzet (Though, neither does Glass Golem for a similar reason.)
