For Challenge # 060. A mirror (get it?) of Crystal Ball. I added the discarding because fateseal seems more powerful than scry.

I'm not sure if it's more powerful in general, but repeated fateseal would be abominable, you can probably keep your opponent drawing nothing but land for the most of the game, so you're right to add an additional drawback. (Discard may be too strong, I'm not sure. Or it may be too annoying even with a drawback :))

I don't know... it seems about right to me. Locking your opponent out now requires a state similar to the one required for Zur's Weirding. That's tough to set up, and Wizards didn't have a problem reprinting that card in a number of core sets. Otherwise, you can use this card when you don't draw anything special to make your opponent not draw anything special. Maybe. Good synergy.
