Llanowar Elves got powercrept.
Maybe? But it's not strictly better.
At base, this produces a permanent that can tap for either
or
. Now it's true, different cards may gain more benefit from benefit from Llanowar Elves or Elvish Mystic over this card depending on the rest of the cards in the deck. But, the elf is going to be tied to needing to be on the battlefield and being a creature. As the mana source being created by this is a (presumably noncreature, the type isn't defined) token, the value generated by this card requires the token to be removed. If Farmland's permanent type is supposed to be a land, that's even more points for the strictly better, as Stone Rain and nonreplacement land destruction is too slow for 60 card.
