I want a few mechanical gunslingers like this. I'm not sure about the clockwork ability: I really want a "put a -1/-1 counter on this: untap it" ability, but I don't think I want a -1/-1 counter block so I need to do the same thing with +1/+1 counters. Ideally this would mostly be about the pinging, but using +1/+1 counters as fodder makes it not bad as an attacker or blocker, so I want some way to counteract that.

Reminiscent of Clockwork Hydra. Impressively cheap, but it can normally only ping the turn after you drop it, so is probably fine. Also reminiscent of Chronomaton.

So, 'Clockwork' means: (When you attack or block with this creature, remove a +1/+1 counter at end of combat)?

@Alex. Thanks. Yeah, that's what I was circling around. I don't expect it to keep the current combination of abilities, I just slapped on all the relevant ones and plan to work out later what to put in this slot :) @JMG: Yes, exactly. I don't know if I will keyword that for this set, probably not, but I wanted to see how it looked.
