I think there's a good niche for more limited white tappers. I made this cheap, but fairly limited. Ideally it would hit all sentient non-orbital creatures, but that's currently mostly Rhox and Nantuko: I may have to add another creature type for artifact creatures, but I expect the non-orbital artifact creatures to have sentient creature types anyway.
So you're not using Insect and Rhino as the creature types?
See comment on the cardset for my worrying about creature types, it started as a mistake, but I'm worried that if I change it I'll have to put "Nantuko" into the name of every card, or something. I guess it may be ok if the cards have obviously-sentient class types?
I think most experienced Magic players know what you're getting at when you say "Insect Cleric" or "Rhino Gunslinger". The non-experienced players wouldn't know what you're talking about... but they don't know what a Nantuko is anyway, and Insect Cleric will ring better with them.
Though, I do admit, this card will look a bit silly when you change over. "Tap target Rhino or Insect" sounds very random. Maybe that's a good indication that this guy should only tap Insects, and a Rhino should do something to Rhinos?
OK, lets change everything to Insect and Rhino and see how it looks. I changed the tokens to be "soldier" as that's a bit more obviously sentient.
