Is a single extra mana really worth that much advantage over Prodigal Sorceror? It also just doesn't feel like an Orc without the extra joke or drawback. None of your Orcs really do; how would you feel about making them all Ogres instead?
...there are slightly more pictures of ogres than orcs out there :)
But yeah, make it do 1 damage to you when you untap it, or something.
Hm, the comparison to Prodigal Pyromancer is well made. But compare with Jeska, Warrior Adept (and Lightning Crafter). I should perhaps tweak the numbers here. As for Orciness, I'm just trying to avoid making Goblins because I don't like Goblins. Not all Orcs have drawbacks.
V's idea is good too.
Went with a harsher version of V's suggestion, which makes it more "orcy". It's still probably too much better than a typical pinger.
