This was printed in sorcery format as Raze. I was considering different wording, but the essence of the card is that it needs to destroy both your land and another land to be fair.
The block I was thinking of was Zendikar, where man-lands were present. The instant speed of this makes it a combat trick.

Yes, this is absolutely what I was after. It's clearly a red ability, clearly could have been done in Zendikar-block (probably Worldwake), and undeniably one mana :P (Though perhaps it might need to be made two mana in development. But details.)
