With the loss of Venser years ago, and Elspeth fleeing Mirrodin for other planes. Koth is still determined to ignore the fact that Mirrodin is now well on it's way to being New Phyrexia in every sense of the term. Retreating deep into the Oxiodia mountains Koth fights on and protects any mirrans left.

With the Mirrian resistance all but crushed the Praetors have turned on each other. All want to be the leader of Phyrexia in the coming age. Currently Elesh Norn holds the mantel, but under her leadership the ranks are all still vying for control. Even though the white Phyrexian faction holds the most influence the others are still mostly free to develop their vision so long as Elesh is kept in the loop and her vision is given the most focus.

Karn while freed from the corrupting influence of the Phyrexian leaders Has Retreated to the newly formed Moon of Mirrodin while he gathers survivors and plans on a way to reclaim his once beautiful plane.(this will likely be a stand alone mini set of 100 cards.)

The goal of this set is to set up a block where the phrexians manage to rise to enough power to once again invade other planes.
