Prickly Boggart suggests this can be a lot cheaper.
Yay! Ravenous Rats! Best black common since Hymn to Tourach!
Hm. If this is a sorcery then it's strictly worse than Concentrate - but then again Concentrate is normally uncommon. If this is an instant it's pretty interesting; slightly better than Inspiration, but slightly more mana-intensive too. I like it (assuming it's an instant).
Slightly better than Welkin Tern / Vaporkin. It's probably doable at 2/2 if you want, but a reprint of Welkin Tern might make more sense.

Nope, because Erase is a nice combat trick on an Aura or similar, and this is sorcery speed.
Flat upgrade, you mean.
But it's a pretty minimal one, and probably not a problem when you're not in a set where "Ah, I'm being beaten around the head by a giant indestructible enchantment. Answer!" happens.
Oh, I misread it, I hadn't realised it was deals damage to a creature. Okay, this is interesting then. Probably still should be 2 mana rather than 4, but more interesting than I'd realised.
Hmmm. Well, unlike Curiosity, this is evasion. Your opponent won't want to block the creature. Still, Infiltration Lens costs a fraction of what this does and is much more versatile.
More expensive than Curiosity normally needs to be. Heck, this is even more expensive than Ophidian Eye.
