Deliberate departures from wizards standard templating
- Use British English
- Use "he", "she", or other pronoun for legendary creatures
- Use singular "they" for players.
- Not strictly a templating issue, but see the "hover and orbital" page
- Many cards are not finalised. Usually this is obvious -- eg. use of [small creature] means the exact size isn't decided (not a typo :)). But sometimes there's a card I know is broken but haven't fixed yet. If there's no comment, please do point it out, I probably haven't noticed! But I may leave it broken until I decide what to fix it with (or there's a playtest).
Non-deliberate departures from wizards standard templating
- I often mistakenly use older templating (eg. not using "dies", using "come into play", etc). If I notice or someone points it out, I will correct this, but not always with a high priority.
- Similarly, I know the rules fairly well but make a lot of mistakes in templating. If I know a card is going to change mechanic a lot, I won't fix the templating, but normally I'll want to.
- I've made an effort to use correct rules and templating except where marked.
