Mechanics | Skeleton |
The people of the faction in Esper colors are the scientists and inventors from the ship who see this new plane as a start for new inventions and research. This mechanic represents artificers salvaging scraps from the wreckage and using them to build and invent.
This is the primary mechanic of the scouts in the naya colors. The scouts are venturing as far from the landing site as possible to explore the wilderness of this new plane. Discover represents the scouts mapping out what they find. In game, you'll be able to discover cards from the top of your library, from your graveyard, or by searching your library. Pseudo-card advantage, Discover lets you make the best of your draws.
The faction in Bant colors seeks to stay close to the landing site and found a city. The construction mechanic represents your creatures building their new city. In game, this mechanic represents a choice. Will you stop your creature from attacking or blocking for a turn to have your building come in faster?
In card text or details pages, write the mechanic's code name (playtest name) between square brackets, like "[Crittercast]", "[Bushido 1]" or "[Delay 4 {2}{R}{R}]". It will be expanded to the mechanic's name plus reminder text, such as "Suspend 4 – . (Rather than cast this spell from your hand,...)"
To expand a mechanic's name but not its reminder text, include parentheses at the end of the square brackets: "[Crittercast()]", "[Delay 9 {R}()]".
