I like it, how is it an flavorfully extinction tho?
The idea is that the ulvenwald -or its inhabitants, rather- are trying to live, but soon they will all die because innistrad is essentially rotting
thus return cards from yard to hand is the struggle and the sac ability is the end of the struggle and the beginning of death
it would be more synergetic if you were to discard cards. or to gain life equal to the amount that left the graveyard this turn
these two abilities work against each other: the opposite of synergy

because the way it is you are only getting one each turn anyway because it is only during your upkeep. makes the second ability only useful on a good turn, which is fine, just it could be even more synergetic with itself :D
