I don't know what the card was when dude1818 commented, but this seems like a lot at common.
Heeee. "Animate Everything". Madness. Excellent unique mythic.
Yeah, looks like V missed the "Sacrifice" clause on this one.
Hmm. So any colour gets half of Manamorphose. Interesting. Probably fine.
Yes, my initial reaction is that this isn't enough downside. BICBW.
Not really, since this is 2/5ths of Wayfarer's Bauble. I always felt that bauble was a bit too good, though. I know that Rampant Growth is the better card (most times), but I doubt anyone would appreciate an artifact that cost
, and sacrificed for
to counter target spell. You should have to work to color fix and accelerate when in non-green, IMHO.
A more specific, but doubly cheaper, Journeyer's Kite?
Possibly fair.
Oh wait; it puts it directly into play? A tiny bit too good, then.
Too many things on this card, especially for common. Maybe cut the choice and just say "Enchanted land is an Island." Blue gets that, easily. If you do, you could drop the cost to
.
If there are enough devastating expensive common and uncommon removal spells kicking around, then this seems like a good drawback. I'm thinking of cards like Agonizing Demise or Betrayal of Flesh. Enough cards like that kicking around, and this thing starts to look like it might be a liability. Otherwise, this card is a 6/6 flyer for 4 with no drawback. Tricky.
Neat take on the 4cmc 6/6. Do you think that's enough of a drawback, though?
I would agree that Vorthos would like this a lot more than Johnny. The restrictions you've made here seem entirely flavor-based to me.
I'm not going to stick my head into this argument. I'm only going to jump in here to mention that, of all the players on the site, the Johnniest one I know is probably Link. If your argument, amuseum, is that "Johnny likes that", than I think you've got a bit of a logical conundrum on your hands. If you wanted to argue "Because Vorthos likes that", I think you'd get more mileage.
Anyhow, I'm stepping out of the way before more semantics get thrown around. I'm pretty sure this is an argument with no right answers.
