Nice. Fine for common, in the same vein as Frogtosser Banneret, Stormscape Familiar etc; but still very good and exciting.

Mmm, there was a phase when wizards really hated this sort of card. It's like a fiddlier Regrowth after all. But I can certainly see a set with lots of graveyard and exile manipulation wanting it at common.

not counters. raise stack interaction in general. eg gain 2 life for each spell on the stack. that green clone Emulate Essence. black discard that checks the spell on the stack.

some posters on MTGS said that the stack could be a zone players fight over. i tend to agree. this will bring blue more in line with other colors and open up more axes of interactions. (magic: the gathering, not creatures: the gathering, or Pokemon)

Woah, monored counterspell? The ONLY modern example of that is Guttural Response, which was pretty specifically counterspell hate. Admittedly, red once got Artifact Blast, but I don't think that happens anymore.
