Mm. Not unless you planned to have a limited environment where people stared at each other for hours on end. I do think you can feature it... but only if the ability is impractical for regular use. I wouldn't start using "regenerate target creature" on common, unless it cost
or more.
You shouldn't get "Regenerate target creature" on a common at all. (Except as a oneoff sacrifice effect, perhaps.)
I think that the regenerate is to good at
for a common and should be

or something.
The second ability on its own pushes it out of common nowadays - as opponents need to keep track of it, and your available mana, constantly.
I love the first ability though - and think it's fine, if green is dropping 5-mana creatures and doesn't have any other creatures; well, you're not doing it because you're on the offensive, are you?
I really like that first ability. It's going to be a feel-bad moment if you don't have any other creatures, though, making me think this should have haste. It also seems like an uncommon more than a common.
Ha, yes, siren/provoke is a nice fit for this set's

faction.
well, red and blue and even green does have the siren / provoke effect : force a creature to block. that could go on a few cards to fill out the rest of the set.
flanked would be define something like this: a creature that blocked a flanker AND got a -1/-1 as a result of the flanking trigger.
obviously a creature with flanking can't be flanked when it blocks.
Hee. I like this cycle. This is the strongest of them, and it's very strong - a 3/2 flier for 3 with two other abilities - but I imagine it's within Wizards' current printable power bracket. Nice tournament flanking card.
The cycle all have the downside that even more than flanking they just encourage the defending player to not block at all. It's the problem of "Whenever ~ becomes blocked, make a million 25/25 tokens." This one is pretty close to Latch Seeker.
I'm not entirely sure the difference between "a creature that blocked ~" and "a creature flanked by ~" is worth the extra piece of terminology, but it's at least very clear. (I'd assume creatures with flanking that block this don't count as "flanked by ~", right?)
