'you control' certainly isn't as clear here when you stapled the buff with a Whipflare-like effect. It would be pretty daft in a Listener tribal mirror match without it though.

They've stopped specifying creatures on their global pump effects, I believe. It's been long enough since Lorwyn block. Look at Regal Caracal.

Definitely needs to be "listeners you control"

"Listener creatures get" since otherwise that doesn't make sense with Nameless Inversion.

Also, "you control" would be assumed here by modern design conventions.

Yeah, it is super complicated. The only reason I'd even consider it in its current state is because I would be playing it with people who understand the rules well and could handle it. I'd love to make it better, though.

Your suggestions are good. I'll make a mockup and see which one works best.

EDIT: I think the cycling one works best. It accomplishes the goal of the mechanic while being relatively simpler. Typecycling is still complex, but not nearly so much as formshift is.
