Additions to Comp Rules | Style Guide | Art Descriptions

Due to strange interactions between DFCs and the intricacies of instant and sorcery DFCs, some new rules must be implemented or adjusted. The additions are as follow:

  1. If an instant or sorcery card would enter the battlefield from any zone other than the stack, instead it remains where it is. If an instant or sorcery card would enter the battlefield from the stack, instead it's put into its owner's graveyard.
  2. If an instant or sorcery card is on the battlefield, it's put into its owner's graveyard as a SBE.
  3. Whenever a DFC changes zones, it enters the new zone with its day face visible. The exception to this is when a DFC moves to or from the stack; in that case, whatever face is visible remains visible.
  4. In every zone, a DFC only has the characteristics of its day face, unless it has been transformed such that its night face is visible. In that case, it only has the characteristics of its night face.
  5. When a DFC becomes a copy of another DFC, both faces are copied. If it transforms, it becomes a copy of the other DFC's other face.
  6. If a DFC on the stack targets something, then is transformed and still requires targets, its owner may choose new targets for it.
  7. "Double-faced" and "single-faced" are characteristics of cards.

More rules to follow, presumably.
