Still has that blitz, but no burn. Gets significantly better the more mana you pump into it. Problem is: could easily be monogreen.
Bumping back to front of list for consideration of options:
• Same cost, 0/0 creature. • Lose burn, add haste • Lose burn, add first strike • Lose burn and trample, 0/0 base, add double strike (very sexy)
It does have some pretty big weak spots; nearly any black removal or a two point Earthquake will kill it.
The "spell cast during combat" theme is relatively subtle, so it's probably good to keep the unusual name here to try to cement the flavour of it.
Reminiscent of Spawnwrithe, in that you need to deal with it on the first attack or else it'll grow out of control. Which is completely fine on a

mythic.

The rarity assists in the cost; just at common... it wasn't trivial.
The "still get goodies" is entirely intentional though. Happens all throughout the set.
That was an error. It was intended for a rare slot and got missorted.
Wow. So... at common, I can cast this, and if it's countered... I still get goodies? Feels SUPER undercosted. I'd +1 the colorless mana cost on this.
I like the awareness counters. Nolan Lewis sent me a design that I based this on that referred to them as charge counters, and while I did consider going with "charge" on the white enchantment, I think using "awareness" sort of seals the deal as to these being things that function on public awareness and opinion.
Wow. That's pretty daring. And cool. I think it would lead a lot of people into thinking it made infinite tokens on a single swing though.
Not bad though, apart from that.
