Random Generator gave me Coercion and Sanctum Guardian. A bit straightforward. Maybe my imagination switch is off today. That's also some backwards terminology. I kept wanting to add "and prevent that damage" since few cards care so much about your opponent's ability to deal damage. If there were more, would this strange trigger seem natural? I don't know...
Funny. That did float through my head briefly, but forgot it. new Jhoira cheats in a lot of ways. My big hidden trick was that new Jhoira can play your other suspend cards in hand their suspend cost only. Greater Gargadon is looking rather good with her.
But, yes, I did push very hard on the casting cost. It's hard to tell what is fair at so high a cost. While the Black Myojin never saw play in constructed land, I've heard many players of Commander curse under their breath at the card. Granted, part of that card's power is that it knocks out all opponent's hands. And, failing to do that, it is indestructible. When pricing this card, I thought to myself Which Eldrazi would I have a hard time deciding to cast instead of this. Gyre seemed right... but I think Gyre might have been overcosted.
I'm pulling her down
, I know black Myojin is 8... but black Myojin never let you play all the cards that were in your opponent's hand. And this creature isn't vulnerable after you make your opponent discard their hand...
One of the things that constrains me is that I want to 'see' both base cards in my end design. In this card, I can still see the influence of Assassinate and Shrapnel Blast, even if it is from a flavor perspective, instead of a mechanical one.
Though, I must admit, I think some of my defenses have been coming down. After having mashed up some 165 cards, I've gotta stick and move to keep this project interesting to myself. I still want to make the cards noticeable as mashups; it is, for me, what 'sells' this set. But, as I pick up tricks, my definition of 'what is noticeable as a mashup' is changing.
That is a pleasing mechanic.
Your proposed instant reminds me of Frantic Cleansing.
This is a fun card. I think it's fine for mashups to wander this far from their source material from time to time, but it does make me wonder why in some of your other mashups you feel so constrained to stick to some specific original piece of both cards where putting the two together seems rather odd.
That's one heck of a vampire.
Amusingly, if one of the exiled cards has suspend then her
ability lets you turn it from "exiled and gone" to "suspended with 1 turn till it happens". I assume this is deliberate. It's a nifty way to bring things back from exile.
I think the cost could stand to be 8 or 9 mana. The Kamigawa Myojin weren't exactly constructed powerhouses.
Random Generator gave me Auratog and Nightstalker Engine. It's true, this probably can't count as a true 'goyf, since it doesn't set the Atog's power and toughness. I'm just happy that between the card being sacrificed, and the card being in the graveyard, the Atog is getting +2/+2 until end of turn.
Random Generator gave me Shrapnel Blast and Assassinate. This is very far from that, I know. But "As additional cost, sacrifice an artifact. Destroy target tapped creature" seemed a bit too random, for what could be a very flavorful experience. So I tried to translate the experience instead, giving your opponent a blade that was cursed to kill its owner when it was sacrificed.
This card was almost:

Instant
As an additional cost to cast ~, sacrifice a creature or an artifact.
If you sacrificed an artifact, destroy target creature.
If you sacrifice a creature, destroy target artifact.
...but decided against it. I like that spell... I make add that to a file some day.
