True. I think I forgot about sacrifice effects being so easy to find. This card would just read "I win the game if I have ten mana." which I was trying to avoid. Switching to caring about he dies.

Sigh. Now he doesn't care about combat, but maybe that's for the best. The ability is frustrating enough, and any card that says "I laugh at your Wrath of God" is a good card.

Heh, somewhat hilarious. Odd to have a demon that wants to be sacrificed rather than wanting to sacrifice others.

The skeleton is mostly full now, though there are two Mythic Artifact slots slated to be filled. I'll probably put something in there when I think of it. Normally, in Mythic, I put an ability that breaks the rules of the game. Think Falling Star. It's fun to see players get excited to be able to do things they couldn't do in real Magic when they draft a Mythic. So, my antenae is up for oddball interactions.

Really, if this card was printed, I would just expect the creature line to be twice as wide. Nice to break the rules every once in a while.

Can't get a good read on that power and toughness. I want to move it to 7/4, but the Trample makes it feel too red at that rate. Hmmm...

Mmm, but Mind's Eye never drew you a card when you cast a spell, and decks with Overmind in it would be built to abuse the fact that this card is in it.

I'm cool with this card costing 8. When you play it, if your deck is in the same power range as your opponent's, you should be crushing him in as little as 3 turns. That sounds like it requires some dedication to me.

I don't know... I can't find a card that's easy to compare this to, which is probably a good thing on my part. Casual players still use Twilight's Call, so that's the cost I was working around, although, I suppose you could think of Return of the Nightstalkers... although, I wouldn't base the power level of any card strictly on a card that few people know about, or use.

I'm willing to concede that I may have overdone the cc of this card, but I wanted to be careful. The card can easily be a "win now" combo piece. But so wasn't Patriarch's Bidding, and I think many people would call that card 'fair'.

I think I'll drop to 8. I don't want this ruining draft, oddly, since that's the only environment 20XD6 will be played in, but a Mythic is a Mythic, no? It needs to be played.
