I recall it was surprisingly hard to find an illustration for this one, when I actually first printed playtest cards for this.

Now you see punching bears and dragons wouldn't be the cool thing that everyone picks up on for a while.

Is it on purpose that it can't target planeswalkers? I would like to see it being kept that way so it isn't a straight-forward upgrade over Lava Spike.

This redirection update is going to be a mess when older cards that say the exact the same thing as newer cards don't do the same thing. It really makes you wonder why WotC didn't just decide to keep the old burn spells's wordings as they are.

This card is from before the rules change, but I don't think I will errata it. I agree that the wording update is a big mess, and I'm not inclined to follow their lead.
