I'm constantly afraid of pushing things too far. My card evaluation skills are not what they should be, perhaps.
I want this to be strong. I want it to compare to Inferno Titan and Ruric Thar. Right now I'm thinking it's weaker, but perhaps I'm wrong. Thoughts?

Hmm. Inferno Titan is very modular: you can drop it into any red deck and it'll be great. This is much more specific - it wants a deck of Legends. It's awesome in a deck of legends, but I agree that's restrictive enough that it's not spectacular in every deck.

I find it hard to know what's "acceptable" power level in a context where the Titans are explicitly designated as target power level rather than way over the top! Possibilities that occur to bump the power level a bit:

  • Make it deal the double-Pyroclasm when it attacks rather than just on ETB?
  • I keep wondering about haste, either for himself or for all your legends. I currently don't think that's a good idea because along with the one-sided wrath that'd be too frequently "Oops I win right now".
  • It's boring, but firebreathing? It does go well with first strike. Or "{r}: Target legendary creature gets +1/+0 UEOT"?

The titans certainly are a lofty and awkward goal. Firebreathing might be nice, but it does then compare negatively to Balefire Dragon.
