Inspired by the discussion on Venom Reveler. Doesn't quite fit the terms of Challenge # 122, because this is red ability + black ability + red drawback. But it's playing off the observation that "deathtouch on attack" is very different to the normal defensive form of deathtouch.
First strike + deathtouch is a famously potent combo, but generally for its defensive applications: what's it like when attacking? I think it's probably actually fine, perhaps even weak. This is normally no better than a Tormented Soul that attacks each turn if able, and this can be trivially double-blocked as long as defending player has two creatures of which she's okay to lose one. (Especially any two tokens.)
On the flip side, of course, this is an awesome target for Madcap Skills, and goes very well with Courtly Provocateur, Provoke, etc.
Heh. Nice card. Needs haste to make it 'worse'. ;)
Oh, but then it would need a clause that says it needs to be played before combat. Okay, never mind. This version's better. My version might be better on a 5/5, say.
