This is a sorcery, so deceit needs a clause allowing it to be cast at instant speed in order for it to work.
For reminder text, "You may cast this as an instant by paying its deceit cost and returning an attacking or blocking creature you control to its owner's hand." seems like a clear template. Not strictly correct, but whatever. It's reminder text.
