When Sylvan Archivist enters the battlefield, you may return target card from your graveyard to your hand.
I'm still very split on this card. My original thought process is that I just wanted a card that smoothed out Eternal Witness's casting cost, and make it more open ended and approachable. When you think of it that way, the card seems fine. When you compare the card to Gravedigger, however, the card is kind of embarrassing.
So what did I learn when people drafted this card? Eternal Witness is broken, and no one cares. People waved this card around like it was a long lost uncle. Funny what powerful abilities on sensible costed cards can do to people's sense of color-pie fairness.
