See Lottie, The First to Hear. I decided to make Shauna monoblack. I knew that I needed to pair Shauna with Jackie, so I would have to figure out the back face of that card. I chose Callie since Shauna views Callie as having similarities to Jackie. This seemed preferential to some kind of enchantment representing Shauna's mental state.
This is an MDFC that can partner with two other cards? That seems like vastly too much modality. And just with the tutoring, they can start chaining front to back
Jackie and Callie will be a modal double-faced card.
I did have worries about how modal dfc partnering would work. Could Callie Sadecki be even better tutored out because she’s the back face?
I was designing with the intention of Yellowjackets Cmcommander sets. Admittedly this could do some serious deck thinning in 60 card. I probably need to either increase Teen Shauna’s mana value or lower her toughness.
No, the card isn't named Callie in the deck, so the partner tutor ability won't work
