All the other cards in 20XX require only 5 cards to be active. The spader, however, needs 7 if it wants to stay a common.

I used to worry about this guy looking better than he played, after I saw a number of players play him as a useless dork. I didn't feel so bad after I saw Hoju play him in a real Wisdom deck, intentionally skipping a beat so that the Spader could stay active and effect the game. Worked well for him.
