created that is a copy of it, at the same time. Its status
is the same except that the copy is phased out.

I am unsure about the exact rules (about order of replacement effects, timing, and other things) at this time. The phase out token should not trigger anything at this time, and should have the same counters, etc applied by replacement effects. It should also somehow inherit the initial text and frame, and if it is double-faced (although it will not be a double-faced card, since it is not a card; but its mana value might be nonzero due to this), etc. Although, maybe it shouldn't do that, since maybe that is inconsistent.
