I selected Derelict Ghost Ship and Random Generator gave m Rebel Informer. And yes, I know this is a bit of a stretch... but the last one of the cycle was Green/White, it needed to be simple, and, while the informer isn't known for "White Shroud" as much as hosing Rebels, it's got it, so I took it.
I wish I could claim that I was more clever, but I had a tough time with that flavor text. I eventually piecemealed Avacyn's Pilgrim and Everbark Shaman's flavor together. I feel a little bad about that... I'll have to come by later and fix it.
I do like adding new purpose to the Cloudchaser Kestrel / Aurora Griffin ability, which is a nice kooky white common ability and a fine choice for an off-colour activation. But this reads more like Eight-and-a-Half-Tails to me. It's actually more like Beloved Chaplain, but even that is distinctly not-common.
I admit, I may be attempting to pull a "overcosted equals common" trick here. Still, I don't think there's anything wrong with "Protection from Creatures" being common, any more than indestructibility. It's just very useful... that doesn't mean that it's less usable in a draft... especially when you've got to play W/G to pull it off.
