Weird. I've got a cycle of common flash auras in the set. I've mentioned before that flash works well for wisdom, since you don't have to play it immediately. You can wait for the perfect moment, and take advantage of an extra card in hand. Flash Auras also do another neat thing, in that they can take up slots normally reserved for combat tricks. RnD's recent policy has been to make sure that every color has one trick at common, which I am a big fan of. Drafts need a bit of spice... there should always be a possible in-color disaster waiting to happen.

But, um, no Shroud, huh? I had originally written this out as Shroud (it is in the Oracle wording after all). But we'll probably never see another card with Shroud again, since Hexproof is superior in a number of ways (including public reception). About a year ago, in league, I happened to get my hands on one of these puppies, and it was a blast. I almost never used it to enchant my own creature, almost always opting to kill a combat trick whenever I got it. This card would be one of the few cases where "Hexproof" would be much much worse...

Yay, I do love Alexi's Cloak. It's very odd to see shroud not spelled out, although I suppooose I can see your reasoning.
