Cankerous Thirst works because all "modes" have the same target requirement, but here you have one mode without targets, one targeting a creature, one targeting a player.
I suggest with "kicker , and/or ", because additional costs work differently from so-called "enhanced spells" in that the choice of paying additional costs is locked in before choosing targets.
Maybe as the base cost and then in the vein of Cankerous Thirst
