Oooh. This is definitely something my RG legends will want in Pemberly
good to know you have reasons for your names, i usually just f5 fantasy name generators until i find something i like
Like all the Hylonauts, Arlia's name is a name in Ancient Greek, modified to read less awkwardly. In this case: Aerlia.
arlia is (was, really) the name of a planet in the dbz universe
http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Trouble_on_Arlia
i don't expect that many people will notice this, but it threw me for a second. "human advisor? but arlians are weird giant insect people"
yeah i missed that, seems like a good way to get around the restriction. interested to see what common legends look like
You only really need to draft two copies for it to matter really, which is do-able.
And besides, as I edited in shortly after I posted (you may have missed it, I wasn't expecting a reply that fast), it's mostly so that I can have legends at common without making them dead cards if you draft/pull more than one.
i don't really see it happening a lot in draft either. did anyone ever live the faerie miscreant dream?
Well, more that I only want it seeing limited play at Common, but pretty much. Half the reason Grandeur is in the set is to support a Legends matter theme -- it lets me have legends at common without making multiples of a single legend be dead cards.
It would see a bit more play in draft, presumably.
so you don't want grandeur getting much of any limited play? fair enough then
Put it at common if you want the effect used at limited, uncommon if the effect is strong but you only want it in limited occasionally, and at rare if you want the effect to only be used in Constructed.
And, of course, you make the cards playable even if they can't use the Grandeur effect.
