Gods
Mechanics
Versed- See Versed test. Was seeking a mechanic to buff creatures. Versed works here. Flavor is understanding multiple religous influences.
Pros: Decent design space? On-theme for set.
Cons: Not really useful outside of cult plane. Needs other cards that shift color to activate Versed.
Likelihood of appearance in set: Medium-low.

Prayer- See Pious Torching. Wanted to do a mechanic based on the concept of prayer. The flavor is obviously prayer. Ended up as sorceries (instants would have it too) getting additional effects from other colors spent casting them. Prayer's current version could be modified to have a permanent of the color tap instead of the creature, but that essentially becomes a checklist of "do you X colored permanent in play," which I think is just lazy. Pros: Usable anywhere players play decks with more than one color. On-theme for set.
Cons: Limited design space. Eats up text box space
Likelihood of appearing in set: Medium-high. Despite flaws, I think Prayer is fun and the limited design space is worth exploring at least once.

Permeate- See Truth of Air. Auras grant their colors to creatures. No actual flavor.
Pros: On-theme for set.
Cons: Logical only on Auras and colored equipment (unlikely to include the latter).
Likelihood of appearing in set: Low. Being limited to auras hurts this tremendously.

Corrupt/Impure- See Tridenteer/Kazwin's Ravager. With the gods definitely being wedge-colored in their true form with one aspect being allied colors, color purity doesn't matter anymore.
Pros: Actually does stuff on its own.
Cons: Hard to design at common.
Likelihood of appearing in set: High

Heretics- see Atheist Propagandist. Unlikely to be a full mechanic, but could be a minor theme in the set.
Pros: Interesting flavor. Lolz if it ever shows up in casual. Can nerf opponent's boards (actual intention with design)
Cons: Weird. Wants the creatures themselves to have Devoid. Needs reminder text of Creatures with no color are colorless
Likelihood of appearing: High for at least a few cards, low for enough to be a mechanic.
