That's true, but they do love to tap... Perhaps it would make more sense to bounce the creatures? That way it's strategy, hand, and far less creature oriented. I suppose I could always change it to tapping islands, but that's utterly redundant... Bouncing islands? That could work.. but it's kind of just like paying mana... Anything to do with lands won't work i don't think.
Reveal cards from hand? Shuffle cards into library? I dunno, there are already so many cards using it it's hard to think of something that would still work for all the designs... or even make sense.. including this one, it doesn't make the most sense, i've been told
I actually think that's way too much life gain. If it was at least tied to another condition e. g. playing additional Forests.

Honestly, couldn't Hypnagogic Jerk itself just cantrip? Why push the card draw off to another spell?
Isn't this going to kill a lot of your creatures in many board states in exchange for at most one opposing creature? Y would swap "Each creature [...] fights" for "Any number of creatures you control [...] fight" and still go with half the mana cost -and maybe instant?- , because often you would rather not be forced to fight with multiple creatures in the first place.
Call of the Sea reads as an unwieldy way to do convoke, but not quite. It also seems weird as a blue keyword since blue is the least creature-oriented color.
You need reminder text to explain what an aquatic creature is - and call of the sea would be nice, too. After all this card has only one ability, so the space for reminder text is there.

My comment is the same as it was then - niche niche niche. To get any value out of it at all you have to be casting 3 artifacts in a turn. And even then you've given up a creature for it.
It does enable some more infnite loops - but, well, Ornithopter is already a thing.
I'm just not seeing what I'd ever use this card for.
