I think it'd be cool to take this concept and apply it to WU, with the 2nd side actually outright copying the creature. That might push it to rare though.

The wording on the first side should probably be Banishing Light style 'exile target creature until ~ leaves the battlefield'. Shorter and works more intuitively.

@Brainpolice Pretty sure your're right about copying pushing it to rare. Could be done though

I reckon we could push this to costing {1}{w}{w} if we move it to rare, maybe even regardless, compared to Banishing Light and Stasis Snare.

Does the exiled creature come back if you destroy Prison Elemental?

That's a good question that's not made clear here.

As far as I'm aware when a DFC goes to the graveyard while transformed it'll return to its front side. So the exiled creature comes back when Prison Elemental dies. Could be more obvious but thats part of the reason it was moved up to uncommon.

­Sunwind Glider already goes to the imprisoning well for a white DFC.

­Fade Away is something similar at uncommon as well.

This could go for any type of permanent and use cmc rather than p/t though to cover another angle.

Since we already have those types of cards I'd prefer something a little different for this slot.

Agree, there is already Fade Away and a missing Instant Removal at UC plus all the Removal in Common, so there is no need for this card right now.

That's a fair point. We need something different here then.
