Is there any reason why Conversation isn't listed in the community sets?

Just because it's new, I think. It should be added, it's a good idea.

Oh yes, good thought. I only created the Conversation set on a whim - we'd spoken about doing that at least a year ago, but I only did it when Link created Dragon's Maze Discussion.

why new Conversation posts not displayed in Recent Updates page?

They are for me. I can see the latest Conversation in Recent Updates. BUT: I had to refresh the page once.

The Recent Updates seem to have a caching problem in general right now: I often have to refresh/force refresh the page to see any new activity.

Have made a separate bug report for this right now: Recent Updates not always up-to-date.
