Alternative to combo creatures.
The question still arises, as it did for the half-X cards; "Why is this different from an aura that can only target a subset of your creatures"?
It's actually closer to a +1/+1 counter crossed with a Contraption.
So, a bad aura. Unless, and I can't tell from Behemoth's Assault, the behemoth traits persist between behemoths
An Aura takes up space in your hand and your library. Zero card disadvantage or mana investment should be worth the difference.
I have not yet decided conclusively whether the trait should persist, but in that case I would change the wording of this ability.
I suggest checking out the combo creatures linked above. So far they are the more elegant execution of this idea with reminder text that actually gives a full picture of the idea.
