  Even if you hit Synchronize for this, it's still not as good as "draw 2 then discard 2". Which is in turn just one of the modes of Izzet Charm.

  Normally you would be right and I would make the change, but this is for a cube with my friends so it shouldn't be too much of an issue because they will understand.

  I don't think this works the way you want it to. At least, it'll confuse a lot of players. Horrific triggers when you cast the spell, which means the horrific ability will resolve while this spell is still on the stack. The second ability (to exile cards) only applies while this card is on the battlefield, which means it won't apply to its own horrific ability. But many players would get that wrong, particularly since the card seems to look like it combos with itself rather than failing-to-combo with itself.

  Not only that, but this is a common. I'm pretty sure the casting cost is about as low as you can go on a preemptive Spelljack at common...

  Edit: Oh, but then again, this is for a cube, eh? Well, I suppose all power-level and commonality arguments get thrown out the window there.

  Isn't this just worse than Psychic Intrusion? I mean, it even has the same CMC and type.

  In its defense, it's limited by the amount of creatures you control. I could make it something like Chorus of the Conclave but I want to use my keyword because I do :P
