It's missing vigilance, as well, which is part of what I thought made Celestial Colonnade so good.
Heck, if it helps to compare this to something, compare it to Planar Portal. Not counting the colored activation on this card, I can count 6 ways that this land is better.
(Oh, by the way, the auto colour-detection doesn't work on lands like this. You'll need to override the frame to be "Land (colourless)", like Kessig Wolf Run and its cycle.)
Wow. Compares pretty favourably to Celestial Colonnade. Giving up one point of power in exchange for lifelink is a pretty good deal.
I guess it's not Baneslayer Angel, so it may be fine.
Whooaaa. Death Wish without the life payment? Repeatedly? On a land? Um, I think this might be a bit excessive.
If the land sacrificed to do it, that'd compare just fine to Living Wish, Burning Wish and Cunning Wish; those three do after all all take up deck slots, so although this can only happen on turn 6 (modulo acceleration), you're not spending a spell slot on it.
I do like that this is another repeatable 5-cost activation for your cards that like those, but the effect seems way too strong.
(Hmm, thinking about acceleration in

: what do you reckon to a pair of Krosan Verges, one getting a Forest and Island and the other getting a Forest and Mountain? Or perhaps just one card that gets you any two lands with at least one of those three types?)
Yes, having a cycle of commons with a 5-mana activation from hand (ie hidden) is great for the five-cost-matters theme.
I'm very interested in the directions you're taking with this set. I like it a lot.
Hahaha, I love the alternate name "Mountain-bicycling". That's a fantastic mechanic name :D
That's true, the mechanics support is somewhat limited. You could create five mechanics, one called Two-Forestcycling and so on?
BTW, rules text like this will appear better if you don't have extra blank lines between the abilities.
More like Armageddon Clock, since it hits each player. Ramps up quite a bit faster - each end step is fast, especially in multiplayer.
Hee. So you need any two of the colours, and it'll give you any mix of the three. Sounds fine; nice tweak on Burning-Tree Emissary.
Yow. Zealous Persecution permanently, or half of Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. A Curse of Death's Hold stapled to a Glorious Anthem.
Very strong. May need to be six mana, especially at hybrid. Nice design though; one half is more black and the other half is more white, but each can sortof kindof do the other half. You could certainly move to gold without anyone blinking, but hybrid could still work.
It's tricky, since the correct answer is most often going to be to put a 2/2 flyer into play. I do see what you're doing there with the 5-cost-activations-matters thingy, though, so props for that. Most of these bi-cyclers, though, would seem better, in my mind, if they were more situational. For example, if this creature was a 1/3 or 1/4, I'd be more likely to bicycle. The lizard and the spider seem fine, though. One wants more land in play when playing multiples, the other is a 2/3 reach creature that can be easily trumped in a color that likes land.
Interesting. Not many situations where you've got 5 mana and still want two more; but it gets you out of colour screw I guess.
actually Two-Forestcycling. this site's mechanics template doesn't allow parameters in the middle or beginning of the keyword.
